Witina

Comparison

Witina AI vs Auvik

Both map and monitor a mixed-vendor network from the cloud, with a small collector on your site. They differ on where your device credentials are stored, whether the product can change configuration safely, and what you can learn about price before you talk to anyone.

Compared on 30 September 2026 using Auvik's own documentation. Sources are at the end of the page.

Your credentials stay on your network

Auvik's documentation says: "All the credentials you share with Auvik are sent to the cloud and stored securely using AES-256 encryption." Witina AI relays a credential to the gateway on your network and encrypts it there.

How credential storage works →

Changes you can approve and undo

Auvik backs up configurations, shows diffs and alerts you when a config changes. Its own FAQ asks "Can Auvik automatically restore known good configurations?" and answers "No." In Witina AI, a change can go through approvals and a schedule, snapshots the device first, is verified, and can be rolled back. The operations available depend on the device platform.

A price you can see

Auvik quotes each customer, on an annual contract with a minimum spend. Witina AI's prices are published, and you can pay month to month.

What each costs →

A small office costs nothing

Witina AI is free for up to 10 devices, access points included. That covers a firewall, a couple of switches and a handful of APs, and there's no card to enter. Auvik offers a 14-day trial.

What it costs

Auvik doesn't publish prices; its pricing page is a quote form. Its own article on pricing works an example at $27 a month per network device on its Core tier, and access points, printers and UPSs aren't billed. The table uses that rate. Your Auvik quote may differ, and every Auvik contract also carries a minimum spend, which isn't included here.

Monthly cost for three example networks
Network Witina AI, per month Auvik at $27 per network device
Small office 1 firewall, 2 switches, 5 access points $0 Free $81 plus the contract minimum
One office 1 firewall, 6 switches, 8 access points $59 Starter $189 plus the contract minimum
Five sites 5 firewalls, 40 switches, 55 access points $136 Starter, plus 2 gateways $1,215 plus the contract minimum

The five-site example assumes one address space. Auvik's Core tier includes syslog and flow analysis, which Witina AI doesn't have.

Auvik's MSP edition has no published rate, so we haven't priced an MSP book here. Witina AI's MSP plan is $899 a month for 400 devices and 100 client networks. Every plan →
